Trained in the good ol’ days of print, I know what ‘possis’, ‘chromalins’ and ‘polymers’ are. I know the ins and outs of colour masking and having a flatness of 3 pixels when deep etching in Photoshop. I also know the difference between a pixel and a pica and the importance of brand authenticity when rolling out any campaign.

12 week short course run through UCT, demonstrating the ins and outs of User Experience and User Interface Design, it's differences and applications. Received a distinction in this course.
Full time course exploring the fundementals of DTP and Graphic Design, using Quark Express, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign and Macromedia Freehand.
Taking approved artwork to production-ready files for print or publication. These include newspaper and magazine print ads, billboard designs, indoor display media and more.
Heading up, mentoring, directing and leading the design team in all things digital, from website development to Facebook carousel ads.
I started and ran my own design agency for 5 years, focusing on small businesses who needed an extension to their marketing departments.
The 7 years spent at this company taught me the fundamentals of print, photography and BTL advertising. I built my first website in good ol' HTML and even dabbled a bit in Flash.
